# Clarity over complicated

Most stakeholders do not need more information; they need simpler information.

There's a moment every business owner and consultant runs into:

You're explaining a system, a process, or a project…

…and halfway through, you realise the other person is nodding politely,

but they're not actually following.

You can feel the misalignment.

You can see the confusion.

You know the decision they make next won't be the right one.

And somehow **you** end up carrying the blame.

I learned this the hard way early in my career, on a project where I kept talking in system terms, process terms, and technical terms… thinking I was providing clarity.

That's when I realised something important:

> Most people don't need more information.
>
> They need simpler information.

Not "dumbing it down."

Not oversimplifying the work.

Once you get that right?

Everything moves faster.

Decisions get made cleaner.

Stakeholders stop resisting.

Projects stop stalling.

Because clarity is the real accelerant.

Not more meetings.

Not another 20+ slide deck.

**What's the one explanation or conversation you wish you could redo with more clarity?**
